Job Title: 1st SHIFT CNC Mill Machinist Job Description: Accepting applications for CNC Machinist, IMMEDIATE HIRE Machinist with 10 years experience. Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. Calculate and set controls to regulate machining, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit programs for Haas Mills. Study blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequence of operations to fabricate product. This is a day-time position with hours 7:00 am -3:30 pm. This person must be able to write programs using Gibbs Cam or Mastercam using appropriate speeds and feeds. Must be able to import solids into CAM systems and extract geometry. Must be able to select appropriate tools and machining processes. Should be creative and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Be able to set up Haas 3 axis Milling Centers. Must be able to run multiple machines as needed and be able to run prototype jobs with one or two parts as well as production. Have the ability to verify parts with micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, optical comparator, etc. A self starter who is able to make informed judgments about procedures in a machine shop. 8 hour day with possible overtime. Must have 3 WORK references. ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
